This is a family photos taken in the Summer of 1937, from left to right; Mary Margaret Jackson (daughter, age 16), Irene Gerhardt Jackson (wife, age 46), Robert H. Jackson (age 45), and William Eldred Jackson (son, age 17). The family poses with their dog at their Maryland farm outside Washington, D.C. They rented and occupied this 12-acre property from Fall 1936 until Fall 1937. It seems likely that this photograph was taken in conjunction with Bill Jackson's June 5, 1937, graduation from St. Albans School.
